Patti-Cakes…

I have this girlfriend who bakes cakes.  And when I say cakes… what I really mean to say is masterpieces… as she truly is a CAKE ARTIST!!!

We met years ago working at Granite Springs Golf Club. The Bunnykins mug and bowl displayed in my dining room cabinet were given to my oldest by Patricia when I was pregnant.  I’m as fond of her as I am of that Bunnykins mug and bowl… which is an awful lot.  I’m a sentimental old fool when it comes down to it and Patricia and my old friends from the club hold a special place in my heart.

I first saw Patricia’s cakes on her facebook site… finding her after many years of not knowing what became of the once Miss Nova Scotia beauty queen… or was it Halifax?  She’s exquisitely beautiful on the inside and out… somewhat like the works of art she creates!

Patti-Cakes is putting the Cake Boss to shame!  She loves when someone gives her a theme and lets her have fun with it… letting her imagination shine and her creations come to life.

Take today’s Thanksgiving Luncheon for instance… I don’t think Patricia left a single detail to the imagination and I can guarantee folks will be coming back for a second helping.

Patricia makes cakes for every occassion and every whim. Weddings, retirement, babies, graduations, birthdays, ladies night, showers, house warmings, stag parties… anything you can think of.  And not only do they look amazing… they taste great too.  I know first hand… she created a Build A Bear cake for my youngest and a beautiful Graduation Cake for my oldest this year.

Patti-Cakes has a cake for every party and every occassion… for example, nothing says party like a cooler full of beer!

I can’t tell you enough what a wonderful woman Patricia is… fabulous wife and mom of three amazing children who are extremely lucky to have her in their corner.  Give her a call and have her bake you a cake but do me a favor… when she gives you the price… add a little extra!  Patricia is pricing them far too low!  She’s all about making everyone around her happy… putting everyone else before herself… and doing it with the most amazing smile and positive, caring attitude.
